The company RK Siebdrucktechnik GmbH was established at the very end of 1984, it came out of the maintance and development department of Kürten & Lechner GmbH which was founded in 1896.

RK Siebdrucktechnik GmbH is know today in the industry as RKS and the manufacture of the RKS Screen printing blades, and all the associated products together with the innovations for the industry that RKS has become famous for.

The founder Rudolf August Kurten developed the RKS squeegee blade and many other products which help the development of screen printing as we know it today.

The tradition is carried on by Stefan Winter who has just completed 20 years with RKS and in 2006 became the managing director.

RKS continues to develop its core product and associated equipment for the industrial screen printing industry.
