A pneumatic clamping system for insertion and removal of both types of squeegees and the pneumatically controlled swivel movement reduces set-up time to a matter of seconds. Such design versatility allows the stencil to be replaced without removing the squeegee. The RKS printing unit is specially designed to protect parts susceptible to soiling (e.g. hoses, cables, and cylinders) from exposure. The smooth external surface can be easily cleaned of any unavoidable residues. The printing angle is aligned by means of two easily read adjusting screws. No additional tools are required. The installation of a RKS printing unit provides an economical solution to machine upgrades resulting in shorter set-up times, ink reduction and improved printing quality. By combining a RKS squeegee a maximum high performance may be achieved.
