History of RK Siebdrucktechnik GmbH:
RK Siebdrucktechnik GmbH was founded in 1985 from a company-owned workshop for mechanical and process engineering Kürten & Lechner GmbH, 1896 founded, one of the leading printing and process engravers. Today, RK Siebdrucktechnik GmbH is worldwide known under the RKS trade name as a manufacturer of RKS screen printing blades with the associated peripherals and as an innovation forge.

The experience and skill of four generations from the Kürten family coined RKS.

In 1948, Rudolf August Kürten from the 3rd generation started as the first one the design of graphic screen printing, which then was performed manually only by artists, as a complete 4th printing process, in addition to the letter press, gravure and flat-bed printing process. With his invention of the RKS screen printing blade and numerous other inventions, he has always given significant impetus to the screen printing process. Also, he deserved well in the training of printers and technicians for screen printing, and has set new standards.
